At My Handy Chap, we believe in being upfront and fair. You’ll always know what you’re paying before we start – no hidden extras, no unexpected add-ons.

•  ⏱️ Hourly Rate – £38/hr (2-hour minimum)
  Perfect for those small jobs like hanging pictures, fitting shelves or putting up curtain rails.
   
•  🛠️ Half Day (up to 4 hrs) – £140
  Ideal when you’ve got a few tasks you’d like ticked off in one visit – from flatpack furniture builds to garden tidying.
   
•  📋 Full Day (up to 7 hrs) – £250
  Best value if you’ve got a longer to-do list or larger project that needs care and attention.
   
•  🚨 Emergency Call-Outs  – £40 call-out + £45/hr (evenings & weekends)
  For those urgent moments when something can’t wait – we’ll get to you quickly and sort it.

We’re open Monday to Saturday, with occasional Sunday afternoons available too. Early starts and evening appointments can be arranged to fit around your schedule.

I’m often booked ahead, but life (and the Devon weather!) can create last-minute changes. When slots open up, I offer them first to clients who already have work scheduled in.
